About Us

We Are She Wins Totally

A community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization rooted in St. Petersburg, Florida — dedicated to empowering women and young adults to rise, heal, and thrive. Because she never gives up.

How We Began

Founded on Purpose, Driven by Community

She Wins Totally Inc. was founded in 2018 by Kenyatta Rucker, a lifelong St. Petersburg resident who spent more than 20 years serving the community through her bail bonds agency. During that time, she witnessed firsthand the needs of women and families caught in cycles of hardship — and she began helping them informally, often from her own pocket.

In November 2020, She Wins Totally Inc. officially became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, solidifying its commitment to serving women and young adults. The organization has since received a $10,000 capacity-building grant from the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg and Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, which helped fund a five-year strategic plan.

Today, She Wins Totally distributes groceries to over 100 people every week, partners with mental health counselors, GTE Financial, and workforce agencies, and is actively working toward its goal of building transitional housing for women and children.

Our Mission

To create a safe space where positive women can come together to uplift, inspire, promote, and support one another — providing resources and tools that help women and young adults gain self-sufficiency, with a focus on mental health, self-care, healing, and the fundamentals of independence and personal growth.

Our Vision

She Wins Totally Inc. is passionately committed to ensuring every woman's empowerment and active participation within her community. We recognize the deep correlation between self-care, self-development, financial literacy, and mental health — and believe every woman, in every season of life, deserves the tools to live fully in her power, purpose, and peace.

What We Do

Areas of Focus

Sisterhood & Empowerment

Sisterhood is a powerful force that inspires and uplifts women — helping them overcome adversity and achieve their dreams. We cultivate that bond through community, events, and shared experience.

Mental Health Resources

We partner with The Well for Life and other mental health organizations to connect women with the support they need. Seeking help is a sign of strength, and we make that access easier.

Self-Care & Self-Sufficiency

We provide donations of clothing, laptops, tablets, and hygiene products. We host self-care days, financial literacy classes, and connect women with workforce agencies and housing resources.

Housing & Stability

Our five-year goal is to build transitional housing for women and children affected by homelessness or the judicial system — offering a stable, safe foundation while they work toward stability and a brighter future.

Financial Literacy

We partner with GTE Financial and other organizations to deliver financial literacy classes that equip women with budgeting, credit, and financial independence skills — meeting every woman where she is.

Community Outreach

We distribute groceries to over 100 people every week in partnership with a local church in Pinellas County, and serve as a navigator connecting individuals with the resources they need.
